“Running on thin…salts?”

We all agreed we’d go running at some point in Death Valley. It’s not everyday one can say they ran through it, but now we can. Badwater seemed nice and flat, so we got out our running shoes and ran until our lungs gave in. This probably was not the smartest move on our part considering the sign out front that read “tread lightly”. The salt layer was not as thick as we’d expected and one heavy stomp could result in our foot sinking to the ground. So here we are…acting stupid…again.
